Your are purchasing one (1) yard of 400d polyester OR nylon material with polyurethane backing on the fabric that makes the fabric virtually waterproof (not water repellent). Some colors may be a polyester or nylon fabric, at this point I can't tell them apart. Can be sewn on most home sew machines, but will depend on your design and amount of layers. This fabric should be considered light weight. Fabric is not rated for long term outdoor use, and may sun fade within a few years of constant exposure.
